Kakadu National Park

This is the last week of our blog which means we are traveling one last time and were going to Australia. I wanted to pick a place that would stand out to everyone reading this blog. Kakadu National Park is located in the northern part of Australia and the park is about half the size of the country of Switzerland. The climate of this area is very hot since it is extremely close to the equator. Kakadu actually goes through monsoon seasons which means that it has wet and dry seasons. Recently the park is having issues with invasive species destroying the habitats for the animals that have been there forever. Lastly the park is home to many large rivers and with that beautiful waterfalls all around the park.
Later this week we will talk about tall the different animals you will see and things you can do while at the park.
