For the second post of this week we take a look back at
Yosemite national park once again and we will be looking at the features someone visiting the park might see. Yosemite national park is very rocky and mountainous because of this the park is home to some of the biggest waterfalls in the United States. For example Yosemite Falls is the largest waterfall in the country at almost 2,500 feet tall. Also located in the park is Ribbon Falls that has the highest water drop in the country just over 1,500 feet. Along with the beautiful sites of waterfalls and mountains the wildlife seen around the area is just another one of the amazing attractions. This park is home to many different animals such as black bears, bobcats and coyotes. There are many more but the higher in elevation the less animals are there. More toward the higher elevation one might see the great grey owl or some reptiles on the ground such as a western fence lizard. There are so many more species of animals in Yosemite national park but these are some of the more prominent animals and bigger animals around the area.
