Once again were staying in Australia for this amazing park. Kakadu National park is home to hundreds of species of animals such as Fresh and Salt water crocodiles, wallabies, kangaroos, and blacked necked storks. These are all species we don't see throughout the united states. Any of these animals would be amazing for us to see since we can't without going oversees. Along with all of these animals there are remarkable things to see such as Jim Jim Falls which drops about 660 feet into a pond. One of the most amazing things and the main reason I chose this park is because of the many cave and rock paintings throughout certain areas. This drawings are beautiful and have lasted for such long amounts of time I believe that it is something everyone should see. Each of the paintings tell different stories about hunting, religion, and magic. I think it would be amazing to hear what each of these stories mean and get to see these paintings thought Kakadu National Park.National Parks

Kakadu National Park
This is the last week of our blog which means we are traveling one last time and were going to Australia. I wanted to pick a place that would stand out to everyone reading this blog. Kakadu National Park is located in the northern part of Australia and the park is about half the size of the country of Switzerland. The climate of this area is very hot since it is extremely close to the equator. Kakadu actually goes through monsoon seasons which means that it has wet and dry seasons. Recently the park is having issues with invasive species destroying the habitats for the animals that have been there forever. Lastly the park is home to many large rivers and with that beautiful waterfalls all around the park. Later this week we will talk about tall the different animals you will see and things you can do while at the park.

Kruger National Park (Continued)
Continuing with Kruger National Park the reason I chose to write about this area is because of the many animals large and small that live in this area. The biggest of animals live in this area. For example the African Lion, African Elephant, Cape Buffalo, African Leopard, and White and Black Rhinos live in this area. Those are some of the biggest creatures you can see in this park. It is a very good thing that there are protected areas for these animals. The parks climate is very hot and reaches over 100 degrees on some days. The vegetation is very bare with throned bushed and trees. One of the biggest problems with this park is the poaching of these animals. Rhino horns are one of the biggest problems. These animals are down to about 350 left because of the killing for their horns. This is very important that they continue to try and defend these animals. This park would be an awesome one to visit because of the variety of camps, restaurants, and various safari tours that one could go to or on while visiting this area.

Kruger National Park
This week we are going to take a long trip overseas to see one of the biggest game national parks in South Africa. Kruger National Park Is located in the North Eastern part of South Africa by Limpopo and Mpumalanga. The park stretches just over 7,500 square miles which shows that it is one of the biggest parks we have even talked about through this blog. The park has many protected areas that help with wildlife preservation. It was South Africa's first national park and it has be for close to one hundred years. The park has many different camps that one could visit while visiting the park. One of the main tourism attractions are the animals and habitats you see when you visit this park which we will talk about later this week.

Source of Inspiration
After overlooking at my blog I
decided I no longer wanted to use the font I was using because I feel as though it is very unprofessional. I m sitting in class thinking about how I needed to change it because it makes my blog look as if a child wrote it. I am changing the font for the rest of my blogs to Times New Roman. This is what is used in all research paper and it is the traditional font use. It is very clean and that is the way I want my blog to look.

Source of Inspiration
While working on my website project for my Interactive Multimedia class I was sitting next to a friend of mine when I looked at the sticker on his laptop. It was a red Zumiez sticker right next to his mouse pad and it made me think about how the titles stood out from everything else. Why did I notice that sticker before I
noticed anything else? I kept looking at it and then I realized that I loved how the writing looked. It stands out but it also shows the style of things I would use to represent myself. It made me decide to try and find a font like it to represent myself. This sticker made me want to change my font of my blog. I think it makes my blog look as if it is more friendly and inviting. Maybe it will make more people want to read it.

Deforestation
Deforestation is one of the biggest problems when thinking about how we are killing animals environments and it needs to be stopped. Each day millions of trees are destroyed and habitats are lost. According to the WWF they say that over 48 football fields worth of trees are lost to deforestation every minute. Thats easily over ten miles of forests gone every single minute. When we are cutting down these trees we are increasing the amount of greenhouse gases, were ruining water cycles, and ruining the animals environment. This is causing some of the affected animals to start to come into towns and places that humans live. Unfortunately since there isn't too much we can do, we do the best with what we can, many organizations are creating different ways to save these areas and having protected areas in the forests. One way we can help is to spread awareness to the people around us about this issue and maybe we can bring it more to light and how harmful it is for us and the animals environments. If we don't stop it soon thousands of animals and possibly their species may disappear within the near future.
